Every itinerary is tailored to suit your interests, allowing you to spend longer at your favourite locations, venture further into Coffin Bay National Park by 4WD, or simply enjoy the day at your own pace.
Please note: The 3-Hour Oyster Farm & Bay Tour is subject to supplier availability. If it is unavailable on your selected date, we’ll substitute it with the 90-minute Short & Sweet Oyster Tour, and you’ll receive a complimentary bottle of Boston Bay Wines to enjoy at home as part of your private touring experience.

Itinerary
Your day begins with collection from your Port Lincoln accommodation before travelling to Coffin Bay National Park. Explore a landscape of white-sand beaches, sheltered bays and rugged coastal scenery, with opportunities to spot native wildlife such as kangaroos, emus and birdlife along the way. As these animals are wild, sightings cannot be guaranteed.
After exploring the national park, return to the Coffin Bay township for lunch at Santi’s Coffin Bay, where you can enjoy fresh local flavours in a relaxed coastal setting.
In the afternoon, join a local oyster farmer for the Experience Coffin Bay Short & Sweet Oyster Tour. Cruise across the clear waters of the bay to the original oyster lease and hear the stories behind one of Australia’s most celebrated seafood regions. Learn how Coffin Bay’s world-renowned Pacific oysters are grown, try your hand at shucking and taste them fresh from the source, with beverages available to purchase along the way.
For those seeking a more immersive oyster experience, the 3-hour Oyster Farm and Bay Tour is available as an upgrade. This extended morning cruise travels further into Coffin Bay and includes the opportunity to step into the water in supplied waders and explore the working oyster lease more closely. As this experience operates in the morning, the day’s itinerary will be adjusted accordingly.
Returning towards Port Lincoln, finish the day at Boston Bay Wines. Sample a selection of local wines while taking in views across Boston Bay before being dropped back at your Port Lincoln accommodation between 5.00 pm and 5.30 pm.

Private departures
Our scheduled Small Group Tours operate once a week, departing on Friday only. Please note that these tours do not operate during the winter months of July and August.
Our Private Tours operate year-round and can be tailored to suit your interests and travel plans. If your preferred date is unavailable on the booking calendar, please contact us directly and our team will be happy to assist with your booking.
- Due to Experience Coffin Bay Tours closing for July and August, any bookings in July will include the Oyster Farm Tour instead.
- Book this tour and our 1-Day Port Lincoln Tour and receive $30 off per person. Just add the second tour to your cart when you check out.
- If you would like to upgrade to the 3-hour cruise for $105pp, you need to add this to your cart when booking.
- Dietary requirements can be catered for; please advise these when booking.
- Small group tours are operated on a coaster bus with a maximum of 20 people.
- Private tours are operated in a 7-seater Executive Landcruiser and require a minimum of two people, or the Private Tour Single Traveller rate applies. The private tour includes extra oysters.
- This tour requires a minimum of four people to operate. In the unlikely event, this number is not met, you will be given two options. First, transfer your booking to another day. If this is not suitable, we will provide you with a full refund.
- Itinerary changes may occur to ensure we provide the best possible experience. Weather conditions in Australia can change quickly, and our experienced guides will always put the safety of our passengers first. Any itinerary changes will be communicated to the Group in advance.

We managed to see so much of the island including spotting wild koalas, going to some beautiful beaches for swim stops such as Emu bay, Stokes bay and … More Hanson bay. The swag camping was so fun and we could star gaze and seen the wallaby’s s at the campsite. The food was always good and had plenty of options. Such a great group and a really fun trip! My husband and I did a 3 day kangaroo island tour. It was very fun. We experienced sleeping in a tent, do some of a bit stuffs for making lunch and clean up. We saw a lot of wildlife in KI. Too bad we missed the hike as we are doing the … More dolphin swim. But our guide Hannah did a great job of explaining and showing us what KI is all about. It was a short 3 days and would love to experience more of KI when we have the time to go back again.

This had everything - swag camping , star studded night skies, beautiful beaches, scenic drives, spectacular hikes, picnic lunches & a lot of wildlife … More ( yes, Kangaroos wake you up in the morning - I am not kidding !! ).
The selected camping parks and the facilities available were impressive, can't complain. Enough time to explore and enjoy places.
Have to mention - Brendon and Jackson - they were the best guides , really appreciate their hard work, effort and patience to give all of us a wonderful tour experience. The food was delicious, in-plenty and always on-time, never felt disappointed 🙂 .
